About 4-2-0 Passenger-Quarry Steam Train Set by Joseph "cheeseinthepie" Oziem
While the train and each member of its consist isn't based on any particular build of locomotive or wagon, it was heavily inspired by many mid-to-late 19th-century steam locomotives and rolling-stock. The locomotive's design was inspired by iconic steamers, from the C.P. Huntington (A.K.A. Tillie from "The Little Engine That Could"), to the engines that served the Skarloey Railway created by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry in his Railway Series books. In addition, the passenger car was inspired by the coaches typically hauled by American-type steam locomotives in the late 1800s, and the ore car in the back was inspired by the Troublesome Trucks in the Railway Series. Lastly, the arrangement of the consist was inspired by the trains Toby the Tram Engine hauled before his eventual entry into the Sodor Roster in the Railway Series.
