Amtrak IC3 Flexliner

Amtrak tested the IC3 Flexliner DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit ) in 1997 unfortunately opting not to purchase the train not ideally suited for the intended hilly routes.

The DMU consists of three units, two diesel motor units and one intermediary unit.

Up to five DMUs can be coupled together.

Note: The train can navigate both R40 curves and switches but looks plain weird doing it.
