About Bavarian PtL 2/2 “Glaskasten” by Mr_Kleinstein

Gauge 1 model of a tiny steam locomotive of the PtL 2/2 family. These engines were designed to operate on single track lines, operated by a single engine driver only.
The prototype was built in 1908 or 1909, and is preserved in the German Steam Locomotive Museum in Neuenmarkt, Germany.
The loco was originally painted dark green and black, but has been repainted in the red-and-black livery of the Deutsche Bahn. It went out of service in 1963.
My model is designed to run on gauge 1 tracks, which is equivalent to Lego rails spaced with 5 studs in between. It is remote-controlled with Lego PF motor and IR receiver. Independent custom lights are installed front and back. Drivers are standard Lego large train wheels, side rods are custom-designed by Trainedbricks.
