About BR 193 “Flixtrain” Vectron by Tilman D.
The BR 193 Vectron is a powerful electric locomotive built by Siemens. There are many different color variations, I deliberately chose the Flixtrain color scheme.
My model consist about 1800 LEGO parts, only the wheels are fromHA Bricks. There are many good LEGO versions of the Vectron out there but I really wanted to try the difficult front on my own. Besides the colour there was another challenge building this vectron: the writing. I tried many versions but now I'm confident with it.
Inside of the locomotive the space is limited. The letters need a lot of space because of their building techniques but two LEGO power functions L-motors and a Buwizz 2.0 found their place. The lighting was a DIY project and allows the light to be adapted to the direction of travel. Next goal is building some passenger cars :)
