This is a model of the DB AG BR101 electric locomotive. The scale is 1:45 (8-wide). It is powered by LEGO train motors, with the battery being a BuWizz 3.0. The model is equipped with custom M-Wheels.
The original BR101 locomotives were built by Adtranz in Kassel, Germany, between 1996 and 1999, with a total of 145 units produced. These electric locomotives are operated by Deutsche Bahn AG for high-speed passenger services, such as Intercity and EuroCity trains, throughout Germany. They have a power output of 6,400 kW (approximately 8,600 horsepower) and can reach a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph).
