About British Rail Class 08 by pikohan

The British Rail Class 08 was once a ubiquitous diesel electric switcher in the UK, with almost 1000 produced between 1952 and 1962. Withdrawals began in the late sixties, but more than a hundred survive, mostly on heritage railroads with a few still in service.

This is a ~1:48 scale build completed in April 2024. It can be built with all official parts minus the Breckland Bricks cranks and rods. The locomotive has a Power Functions drivetrain and it can handle all curve Radii down to R40.
