Here is my British Rail Class 55 diesel locomotive. This was my first ever attempt at building an MOC. I used images and videos of the real-life locomotive as well as blueprints to ensure the size and proportions were right. Consisting of 2562 pieces this model features a full interior including detailed cabs, main body engine and generators as well as a detailed section under the front sections featuring the air tanks for the vacuum brakes. this model also features highly detailed wheel assemblies. This model is also built on a modular style platform allowing for easy access to view the interior of the train. My favourite challenge with this build was trying to achieve the shape and colour scheme that I wanted whilst limiting myself to only currently available elements from pick-a-brick.
