About British Railways lined green 56xx locomotive   by Matti

Features include:

Boiler is made sideways using SNOT techniques and 4x4 cylindrical bricks. Segments of the boiler and water tanks are sloped, this was achieved by using wedge plates on their side and variety of slope bricks (this was especially difficult as there are limited types of bricks available in dark green). The model also includes brick built dark red lining around the boiler, water tanks and coal bunker. The GWR safety valve is my own design that I came up with via trial and error and the coal in the coal bunker is many 1x1 circular plates that are free floating. A piece of flexible tubing that has been bent into shape has been used as the hand rail on the front of the locomotive and the brake blocks next to the main driving wheels are made from black battle droid arms. Finally, the British Railways crest is made from an old medieval LEGO dragon that has been set flush to the water tank.

The locomotive is powered by a LEGO power functions m motor located in the chassis, while the battery box and the receiver are placed in the cab and fire box.
