About Doublenook by Hod Carrier

Why just play with Lego when you can PLAY with Lego...!!

This is a desktop puzzle or game for one player. It is a railway/railroad themed game where the player has to shunt/switch a train of wagons into the correct sequence based on a randomly drawn selection of coloured tokens.

Starting with the trackplan of the classic Inglenook shunting puzzle I have attempted to develop it into a more complex and demanding game. The aim of the Inglenook puzzle is to shunt/switch a train of 5 wagons from the 8 that are placed on the board. Each siding can only hold a certain number of wagons, so planning several moves ahead is important to complete the puzzle successfully. The design of the game board takes two Inglenook trackplans and lays them back-to-back with a small overlap, hence the name Doublenook. It also uses double the number of wagons, with 16 in total.

I am unsure which category to enter this into, so feel free to move it into a more appropriate one if you feel necessary.
