About GN&SR Pannier No.5775 from “The Railway Children” by Terrier82Boxhill

One of the most beloved British family films of all time, the 1970 adaptation of "The Railway Children" is a favourite amongst railfans and casual viewers alike. An unlikely star of the show is the ex-GWR Pannier tank in a gorgeous but fictional ochre livery, which hauls the old gentleman's train at various points in the story. It also plays a part in an infamous scene where the titular children Bobbie, Phylis and Peter save it from a landslide.

My model captures the charm of the locomotive and the film in general. I replicated the ochre livery, general shape of the locomotive and cab interior details. Even the driver and fireman figures included replicate the real crew members seen during the landslide scene for extra accuracy.
