About High Voltage Transformer Consist by Calvin Bramble, Matt Csenge
Complete consist for transporting a high voltage transformer. These transformers were so big and heavy that they couldn’t be shipped in one piece, even on a heavy duty flatcar. As a result it was shipped in pieces and then assembled on site. Each crate on the flatcar represents a specific piece of the transformer.
CN 651731 has the large bushings and radiator banks.
CN 660239 has the pockets, small bushings, and pockets
PRR 470200 has the rest of the transformer
