About L-Gauge Switching Layout by Calvin Bramble
This is my 30”x55” switching layout. This layout has a minimum radius of R104 and resembles the timesaver layout. Multiple industries are present and short runarounds and tail tracks make for a challenging operating session. A removable tail track extends onto an adjacent table to complete the runaround. Operating sessions were generated by random using car destinations and then using the switcher to move cars to their new destination. Operating sessions typically used 4-6 cars for varying difficulty levels.
