About Little Freight Loading Yard by Tilman D.
We find ourselves back in the late 80s in East-Germany. A small shunting locomotive is about to deliver some wood to the loading yard where it is to be unloaded with the crane. Meanwhile, a worker is picking up a load of mail from the freight shed and the goats are grazing on the meadow.
At the beginning of the year I wanted to build a small module for a branch line. Something with freight trains. By chance, I found a small loading yard in a catalog with a little freight shed and a turquoise crane. The challenge with this module was to rebuild the crane with Lego as close as possible. This soon turned out to be difficult as there are only 4L bars in dark-turquoise. So I had to come up with some other solutions like using a clip at the end of the bar or using part #62113 in combination with a 4l bar for the ladder. In fact you don't have much freedom to operate with this display but I am a fan of small infrastructure away from the mainline.
