About LSWR F9 Class “The Bug” by Simon Bowen

The London and South Western Railway F9 Class inspection locomotive, also known as "The Bug". Commissioned by Chief Mechanical Engineer Dugald Drummond to both get him to work and allow him and his colleagues to visit the LSWR network.

A bit of a mechanically challenging build due to the wheel arrangement and my intention to model the splashers on the smaller leading and trailing wheels. I've also managed to squeeze minifig Dugald reading his paper inside the saloon. The model is powered by two Circuit Cube motors.
