About Modernized My Own Train Small Engine With Tender by JoltKing627

This is my re-imagining of the My Own Train small tender engine, in green! I've tried to capture as many aspects of the original set as possible, while making it more like a real locomotive in details and proportions. It runs on a single M motor, 1:1 gear ratio, with L size drivers. The wheels and rods are custom 3d printed of my own design. The tender features my experimental power pickups made with lionel wheels, so the model can be powered from track power or from the powered up hub. There are power functions connectors hidden in the tender to switch between the two power sources. In track power mode, I have directional lighting with the headlight coming on when the locomotive moves forwards, and the rear 2 red lights coming on in reverse. As a fun reference, Reggie and Max from "The Trouble With Trains" are the engineer and fireman.
