About Nevada Northern Railway Baldwin 4-6-0 #40 by atanjaro

Often referred to as the “Ghost Train”, No. 40 has served the Nevada Northern Railway since July 1910. With her 69” drivers, she was built for passenger service, pulling Train No. 3/4 (dubbed the Steptoe Valley Flyer) between East Ely and Cobra, Nevada. This model of No. 40 has here in her present livery, the same one applied as early as the 1930s.
