About Nickel Plate Road Berkshire #763 by Glenn Holland
Originally designed as one of 80 "Berkshires" for the New York Chicago & St. Louis or the Nickel Plate Road, 763 was regarded as one of the best engines east of the roundhouse in Bellevue, Ohio. Currently preserved at the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum.
Model uses two PF L motors, two PF v2 IR receivers, and a custom battery. A mix of printed elements and decals, and painstakingly modeled wheels, rods, and valve gear add detail never before seen in Lego or traditional scale. The engine is capable of 15 heavy freight cars at respectable speed, which harkens back to it's prototype handling "hotshot manifest" freight trains across the eastern United States.
