About North Korean missile launch car by Ralph Savelsberg

At a first glance, this model looks the same as a standard box car, a Chinese P61 to be precise. However, this particular version houses an unpleasant surprise. In 2021 North Korea used ad a train to launch ballistic missiles, and this is a detailed model of the very wagon that served as the launcher. It houses two missiles, with support equipment. In transit, the missiles lie side-by-side inside the car, but prior to launch, the roof is opened and the missiles are raised. Sliding doors at either end allow the exhaust gasses to escape. To stabilise the car, it has supports underneath that can be lowered.
