About NSW InterCity XPT by Ewout Rohling
Based on the famous British Rail HST, the XPT (Express Passenger Train) first took to the rails in 1981 and quickly became New South Wales’ prime express train. They are still in service to this day under the CountryLink brand, but this model represents the train in its original, colourful livery, affectionately nicknamed ‘candy livery’.
