About NSWGR 42 class 4201 by Ewout Rohling

For your (re)consideration:

The first member of the elegant Alco 42-class diesels, with their distinctly American bulldog nose, 4201 appeared on the scene in 1955. In 1980 it was repainted into a fetching yellow and green, to commemorate the 125th anniversary of rail in NSW. The locomotive carries this livery to this day, and is a regular sight on heritage excursions.

The model is driven by two Powered Up train motors, with the battery stashed under the radiator grilles (and, typically, very hard to access!)
