About NSWGR 42 class No. 4201 by Ewout Rohling
4201 is the first of the 42 class express passenger diesel, introduced by the New South Wales Government Railways in 1955. This model represents the loco in the unique green and yellow livery it received in 1980, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of rail in NSW. If wore this livery until it’s withdrawal in 1983, and still carries it in preservation.
