About NYC Milk Car by Joseph Meador

In the golden age of American railroading, milk cars such as this one were developed to transport raw milk from dairy farms to processing creameries. The New York Central (NYC) railroad boasted what is often claimed to be the largest fleet of milk cars owned by one single railroad. The model is built in 1:48 scale, with a scale length of 43 studs. It also has a detailed interior, which shows off the two large glass-lined tanks that raw milk would have been loaded into.
