About NYC Subway R160 by Ethan C ( @ABentMetrocard )
The R160 subway cars are the main workhorses of the New York City Subways lettered lines. This model is the first of mine to feature curved sides and uses a technique I've been perfecting for a few years now. I wanted to capture all of the slight curves and angles on the model to get the shape as accurate as possible. Incorporating these angles ended up making this arguably bland prototype a pretty interesting LEGO model. While I currently only have one car built physically, I have rendered what a full 10 car consist would look like with the help of the Stud.io program.
