About Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Caboose 508 by Cale Leiphart
The P&LE built 10 of these bay window cabooses at their McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania shops in 1950. These cars would remain in regular service until 1990. After retirement P&LE caboose 508 would be donated to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and is currently undergoing cosmetic restoration.
