About PRR K4 #3877 by JoltKing627
This is my 1:48 scale model of a Pennsylvania Railroad K4, in prewar configuration, numbered #3877. It features custom 3-D printed drive wheels, trailing truck wheels, and connecting rods of my own design. It is powered by 2 mould king L motors with a gearing of 1:1 on the XXL size drivers, and is controlled by a DCC Airwire system with an ESU Loksound decoder that gives it wonderful sound. Electronics and battery are held within the tender, the entire top is removable for access. The lighting is directional, with the headlight being on while going forwards and the tail light being on in reverse. This locomotive is capable of traversing curves as tight as r56. Decals are waterslides from K4 Decals.
