About PRR N6b Cabin Car by Cale Leiphart

The Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR), constructed nearly 1,200 N6b class wooden cabin cars (the Pennsy preferred the term "Cabin Car” over caboose) from 1914 to 1923. One of the longest-serving and best-known styles of PRR cabooses, the N6b with it's high arched cupola roof, became a system-wide trademark for more than 50 years.
