The Long Island Steel Train is 6-days weekly freight service that runs from Melbourne Freight Terminal/North Dynon to Hastings in Melbourne's south. It travels along the Frankston Line travelling at a slow pace through the tracks. The service is run by 5''4 Broad Gauge Locomotives; generally using CFCLA's VL Class, V/Line G Class, B Class and once used BL Class when Pacific National lost the contract.
