The RVCX #20 was a car built for transporting vinegar. Because Vinegar is so corrosive, enormous wooden barrels were used instead of metal tanks. Like on the real car, the tanks on this LEGO model are held down by the straps. The support bracing on the side uses unmodified LEGO cables which do end up providing rigidity and stability to the structure.
