About Sand Railway TB5 electric locomotive by Donát Raáb

This creation is definitely one of the smallest working LEGO-locomotives! The original locomotive served on the Hungarian "Sand Railway", shunting freight cars in the sand mine. The locomotive had a rod pantograph, it was necessery for the mining site, since the overhead wire was offset from the centerline of the train track, so the freight cars could have been filled from above.

The LEGO-creations features Circuit Cubes Bluetooth battery box and a Circuit Cubes motor, these are much smaller than LEGO-components, but it was still very challanging to fit them into the locomotive. The locomotive is 4 studs and 1 plate wide, and the CC battery box inside (completely hidden) is 4 studs wide. The stickers for the black-orange stripes are original LEGO stickers, however some of them was halved for the right pattern. All bricks are LEGO-bricks with the exception of electronics.
