About Simulator Assessment Day by Hod Carrier
Every driver has to undertake an annual rules assessment day on the simulator, and it doesn't seem to be going well. The scenario looks like a very stressful one and seems to have given the driver a bit of a fright. Even at the debrief with the assessor, he still seems to be in a bit of a shock.
This build has two sides to it; the assessor at his desk controlling the scenarios and interacting with the driver, and the fake cab in front of the projection screen with the driver's position in it. I had the choice of designing a whole new cab but I thought I'd re-use the Stadler Flirt UK cab as a prototype build to check the design's clearances and how well it goes together. Happily it seems like it's working well.
