About SOB Stadler Traverso by Donát Raáb
This model is the 1:45 scaled replica of the Traverso electric motor units designed by Stadler for the Schweizerische Südostbahn, using Stadler's almost twenty years old FLIRT-platform. The LEGO-model uses the LEGO-colour of "dark orange" to fit the real train's copper pattern and was a challange to build from a colour with not so much type of parts offered by TLC. The entire train consist of two, electrically same halves, each half is controlled via SBrick. Two PF train motors for driving, three pair of PF led lights as front/tail lights and four pair of leds as interior lights powered from AA battery box were added to each half. The train can safely handle any track geometry configurations based on R40 curves and points.
