The Sri Lanka Railyways M2c, a variant of an EMD G12, was built by General Motors Diesel of London, Ontario and shipped to Sri Lanka as part of the Colombo Plan. The two M2c locomotives, named "Montreal" and "Vancouver", were built in 1961 and continue service to this day.
