About Steamrail Victoria K153 dressed up as K100 by Oscar Van Den Bogaert
This is a model of Steamrail Victoria’s K153 as dressed up now as an original condition K class “K100” for the Victorian Railways K class locomotives 100th anniversary. Complete with the smaller head lamp, flared tender and front jacks. While similar to the K class I submitted in 2020 the chassis, wheels, valve gear smokebox and firebox structure have been completely redone along with the other modifications which K153 received when being dressed up as K100, such as the brass jacks present on the front. I’ve also upgraded the K class to feature working lights with its battery box being stored in the tender. Many of the previous structural issues the model used to have have also been addressed with the rebuild.
