About Teak passenger coach by Ties van Asseldonk

A teak passenger coach as operated by the NCS (Netherlands Central Railway) on their local commuter trains around Dutch the city of Utrecht during the early 1900's.

This car specifically is modeled after the series B111-127 passenger coaches built by the NCS in their own workshops between 1899 and 1911. Officially these where second class coaches, but they where outfitted like you would expect a first class coach to be. This was because at the time, it was illegal to opperare first-class coaches on local commuter trains.

The LEGO model is built in 1:45 scale, and can handle all R40 track geometry. Apart from bearings around the axles, the model uses no custom parts.
