About Texas & Pacific Business Car 1 by Joseph Meador

(THIS IS A RESUBMISSION. I MADE A MISTAKE IN MY FIRST SUBMISSION. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TAKE MY FIRST SUBMISSION OF THIS MODEL DOWN.)
Texas & Pacific Business Car 1 was built for the Texas & Pacific Railroad in 1928 by American Car & Foundry, where it served as a business car for the T&P until Missouri Pacific absorbed the railroad, where it was renamed as Missouri Pacific 9. In 1974, Business Car 1 was sold into private ownership and was locked away in storage until 2001. Presently, the car is listed for sale on Ozark Mountain Railcar for a reasonable $645,000.

My model of Business Car 1 is built in 1:48 scale, and sits at just over 69 studs in length, not including couplers, and 8 studs in width. The car can most certainly clear R104 curved track, and possibly could clear R40, silly as it may look. My model also features a fully detailed interior and underside.
