About Tidmouth Sheds by Joe Graham
This model is based on the "Railway Series" books (later adapted into the Thomas the Tank Engine TV series), depicting the North Western railway's main engine shed and part of the coaling stage at Tidmouth.
I compared the depiction of the sheds in the (often incorrect!) book illustrations with Rev. W. Awdry's own trackplans for the Tidmouth sheds area. So, barring some compression of length, I can confidently say the overall trackplan of this model is as canon as possible to the Railway Series.
The layout also features a number of 'easter eggs' referencing various stories in the series, which I encourage people to try and find at shows!
