About UCS WAGON TGV DUPLEX CARMILLON by Richard "Lafabrick"

TGV DUPLEX are electric trains (TGV : Train à Grande Vitesse, high-speed train acronym) of the SNCF, the French Train Compagny. The TGV DUPLEX consist of cars with two levels. A train is made up of 2 power cars surrounding 8 cars (200 meters long). “CARMILLON” is the name of new SNCF livery for these trains.

The lego model presented is called "UCS TGV DUPLEX ", because based on the spacing of the lego rails, to scale, the model is 9 studs wide for 2m90 in reality. A scale close to that of the Minifig. This scale made it possible to work on certain details such as the bogies of the wagons.

The wagon represents one of the cars that make up the train. Car number 2, for first class. The particularity of these cars is that they are "suspended" between intermediate bogies and common to 2 cars.

The wagon presented here is 76 studs with bogies.
