About Union Pacific M-10000 Streamliner by pikohan

When EMD delivered the M-10000 to the Union Pacific in 1934, it became the first streamlined passenger train in the US. Effectively a glorified, articulated Doodlebug powered by a gasoline-electric drivetrain, the City of Salina traveled almost a million miles before being scrapped in 1941.

This ~1:48 scale build was completed in February 2026. It can be built with all official parts, though I have used bearing axle wheels on the unpowered axles. The drivetrain can be built with Powered Up and the train can navigate all R104 track geometries. It can also be lit with official light elements in which case a third-party hub is required.
