About Union Pacific SRB car by CodysLEGO
This is a first of its kind of car ive ever seen made in lego, and something ive frequently seen on the rails of my home state, the Union pacific SRB cars. This model was built in 24 hours, and with a lot of cups of coffee. I do owe a HUGE thanks to Cale Liephart for showing me his TTX heavy duty flat car model, which the Prototype was built from, as it helped me get an idea for the bolster beam trucks. I do use the Truck design by BMR for the trucks on this, as with the rest of the rolling stock ive built, just like any prototype rolling stock, the truck designs are all of AAR design. The model also has my airhose detail that is applied thorough all rolling stock ive made. The model is built in 1:48th scale, being 10 studs wide (extra clearance needed for the shell, just like the prototype), and is 52 studs long, and has every major detail found on the prototypes.
