About Victorian Railways/Steamrail 9BRS Buffet & First Class Seating by Ben Nguyen
Built from original S & BS Carriages in the 1950s by the Victorian Railways, these BRS carriages were and are a buffet carriage used on locomotive hauled services throughout Victoria on heritage trains and used to be on Victorian Railways services. These were the most recent parts in the S Type Carriage family, being converted from the counterpart S and BS carriages in the late 1980s. During their lifespan, these Buffet Carriages were leased and owned by West Coast Railways, Victorian Railways, V/Line, Pacific National (Crew car), National rail, Steamrail (9BRS, BRS14) and 707 Operations (BRS224).
This build is a full-custom build and is on a 6-wide underframe but am going to convert it to 8-wide.
